We understand the importance of starting chldren off on the right foot for a lifetime of good oral health.  The key to get kids to enjoy going to dentist is to start them early in life and make their early experiences positive ones.  So don't wait until there is a problem to bring your child to the dentist becaue we want to prevent problems rather than treat problems.  These early positive experiences for kids make lasting impressions and they tend to have better oral health throughout life.

According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), your child should visit the dentist by his first birthday.  Make his first visit to the dentist positive by telling him what we are going to do, some of the sounds he may hear in our office, and some of the actions we may ask him to perform. 

Dental offices that treat kids should be comfortable, warm, and child-friendly.  We will talk with your child and answer his questions before performing any procedure all while avoiding using “scary” words like needle, drill, etc.
